Hi, I’m Kiran — maker of ceremonies.

A woman with short curly hair wearing a green and white patterned dress, reading from a paper at an outdoor event with a microphone in front of her, surrounded by green trees.

I make ceremonies for people who don’t quite fit the template.

About Me

Too often, people feel they have to fit their weddings, memorials, or family rituals into a script that doesn’t quite feel like them.

I don’t use templates. I work with you.

We talk properly. We look at your stories, your backgrounds, your family dynamics, and what you want this moment to mean. Then we shape something that feels honest and recognisable.

My background is in dialogue and negotiation, so I’m used to working with complexity. I listen carefully and make space for joy and grief, tradition and change, to sit alongside each other.

This is thoughtful, collaborative work. And it’s yours.

I often work with intercultural and interfaith couples, queer couples and chosen families, and people who haven’t quite seen themselves reflected in traditional ceremony spaces.

If that’s you, you’re in the right place.

What I Offer

Testimonials

“Working with Kiran felt like being deeply seen — not just as a couple, but as individuals with history, culture, grief, humour, contradictions. She honoured all of it. Nothing felt edited down or simplified. She made space for the complexity.”

“I’ve trusted Kiran with some of the most complicated parts of my life long before she became our celebrant. She has a rare ability to listen without judgement and to reflect back what matters. Our ceremony felt like it had depth because she has depth.”

“We were nervous about how our different backgrounds and faith traditions would sit together. Kiran navigated it with intelligence and gentleness. She never flattened our differences — she wove them.”
